The Municipal Administration of Fontanile, on the occasion of the centenary of the First World War, wants to pay tribute to the memory of the superior officer Magg. Francesco Mignone, who in this community has spent the years of his adolescence not making it back and where they remain indelible the signs of its passage. The celebratory events will develop on two days, June 16 and 17.

During the afternoon of Saturday 16 June, at 4.30 pm> Registration at the conference “Do not pass the stranger – The Great War from Caporetto to Vittorio Veneto” – The journalist Vanni Cornero is moderating. Presentation of the unpublished volume dedicated to Major Francesco Mignone “The extreme defense of Lampol’s loop” by and with Lorenzo Mazzonetto. Speakers: Prof. Aldo Alessandro Mola, Gen.B. (res) Luigi Cinaglia and Col. Antonio Gelao. 8.00 pm> dinner.
