CIAK SI SUONA! MUSICHE DA FILM. MORRICONE & FRIENDS

In the Rural Arena of Cascina Crocetta in Castelletto Uzzone (CN), on Friday 14 July at 9 p.m. it is time for live entertainment with ‘Ciack si suona! Film Music. Morricone & Friends” by the Ensemble “Le Muse” conducted by Andrea Albertini.

A violin, a cello, a piano and a voice perform live the most beautiful soundtracks of memorable films. The artists are exceptional soloists: Lucia Sacerdoni, cello; Andrea Albertini, piano; Livia Hagiu, violin; Daniela Placci, vocalist.

In 2012, Andrea Albertini founded the Ensemble ‘Le Muse’ with which he inaugurated Italy’s six-month presidency of the European Union in July 2016 with a concert in the presence of leading European government authorities. In 2017, he received the High Patronage of the Italian Republic for the “Omaggio a Morricone” project, which in 2018 he took on tour in Thailand and the U.S. In September 2018, he conducted an Opera Gala for the Carlyle Foundation at the Opera Garnier in Monte Carlo.

The concert “Ciack si suona! Film Music. Morricone & Friends” is in the calendar of the Val Bormida Experience Festival, a project of the Fondazione Matrice ETS that also this year brings together artistic initiatives and live performances. The project is realised in collaboration with the Municipality of Bergolo, the Municipality of Bistagno, the Municipality of Monastero Bormida, the Monastero Museum Association, IRSAC, the Pianpicollo Selvatico ETS Foundation and with the support of the Piedmont Region, the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation and the CRC Foundation.

The concert is also an opportunity for the Banca del Fare department of Fondazione Matrice ETS to inaugurate the arena that will be available for outdoor events and meetings at Cascina Crocetta. Realised by the Banca del Fare’s wooden self-building workshop with CAMPOSAZ, tutored by Asia Valencic and Gudmar Söderin (Valencic Söderin Arkitektur) the Rural Arena is the tangible legacy of the first residential course of the summer season in Castelletto Uzzone.
