CRUCIFIXIA – L’IMMAGINARIO DEL SIMBOLISMO RELIGIOSO

The exhibition, curated by Francesca Petralia, is a dialogue between the church, place of worship, and the works of Boffelli. The drawings do not evoke so much an imagination based on the memories of religious rites or processions connected to traditions deeply changed over time, as they actualize and interpret religious symbolism for the benefit of the new generations.

The exhibition “Crucifixia” is included in the program the Valle Bormida is exposed and is organized by the Matrix Foundation ETS in collaboration with the Municipality of Cassine and IRSAC Institute for the Historical Reconstruction of Arts and Customs APS Cassine and finds the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of International Cooperation; Ministry of Culture; from the NextGenerationEU program and from the Piedmont Region.

OPENING: Friday, July 12 at 06.00 p.m. . For the occasion it will be possible to visit, free of charge, the Museum of Sacred Art of San Francesco “Paola Benzo Dapino” and refreshments will follow by the Butejà of Giuditta.

VISITING HOURS: The exhibition will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 13 July to 28 July from 04.00 p.m. to 07.00p.m.
