It is arrived at ° edition, the “Fat Ox Fair” has been recognized the regional importance as the major city of Carrù, Moncalvo and Nizza Monferrato. It is the only one in the province of Alessandria, where it gather the breeders of the lower Piedmont and the Ligurian hinterland. The event started, becouse in the past during winter before the Christmas holidays, the farmers come here, in our area to negotiate the sale and purchase of cattle for slaughter.

Day programm:
⚫ 9:00 “Bocce”(traditional ball game) tournament, organized by the “Nizza-Valbormida” local club, the play starts in multi-purpose area.
⚫ 9:00-9: 30 The animals arrive at the exhibition area, “laghetti” area near the wood.
⚫ from 9:30 to 12:15 Cattle’s exhibition and trading, after a meeting with discussion among farmers, slaughterers and administrative board.
⚫ 12:30 “Bue Grasso’s” lunch at the multipurpose hall.
⚫ 15:30 Roundtable, with presentation of the achievements of the organic district “Suol d’Aleramo”.
⚫ 17:00 At the elementary schools “The Fair ends .. in poetry”, collections of music and poetry in dialect ..
