“NOTE DI SANTI E PECCATORI”

A selection of songs -with some declaimed interventions- the result of research aimed at narrating the multifaceted spirituality of the people.
An evening to collect those songs that have tried to give voice to a dialogue between the simple and a higher entity, songs of temptations and faith, of hopes aimed at heaven.
A path that crosses ages and languages, places and feelings to tend always and in any case to the divine, popular, folk and lyrical songs in search of a personal, intimate and simple spirituality that can speak to everyone.
From Astor Piazzolla’s “Ave Maria” to “Madonna de lu Carmine,” from Nick Cave’s “In to my harms” to Bach’s “Suite in B minor” for flute and piano
from Leonard Cohen’s celebrated “Halleluja” to “Passione,” a Neapolitan song about a temptation and a vow to the Madonna.
